Riverlake at the OTL Africa Downstream Summit 2023

Represented by Marc Lecoanet, Riverlake CEO, Bello Tukur Managing Director Africa, Franck Petit Head of Tankers, Marc Poyet Riverlake CFO, Haykel Sahraoui, Senior Shipbroker and Anita Dafiode, Shipbroker, the Riverlake team attended this week the OTL Africa Downstream Summit in Lagos.

The conference gave an insight into the future of the Nigerian downstream as it is going through significant changes following the enactment of the petroleum industry act (PIA) and the Nigerian government’s decision to remove fuel subsidies on petrol in June 2023.

Energy transition fuels such as LPG, CNG and other renewables were top of the agenda as the country moves towards a more sustainable source of energy away from fossil fuels, which acts as the major source of energy for its economy.
