Our journey with this conference began in 2006 when the institution was first established by Joel Dervain, supported by CITAC Africa Ltd. Back then, we attended with a team of 50 dedicated professionals only. Today, the African Refiners & Distributors Association (ARDA) conference brings together ten times more participants than in its early days, reflecting its growing importance in the African oil and gas sector.
